Why photography? To me, it is more of an interest than passion. Not an obsession, but a liking. If I'd have to click for an entire day I would never consider it work. It is a whole new world discovered through a viewfinder. We get to see things people usually don't notice.I started learning photography way after I started clicking.I took it up seriously only after I discovered that I was not too bad at it.
Through chapters of learning about lighting, composition, focus and other techie stuff, it was only when I was out clicking that I realised photography is not about just getting your focus sharp or your composition right. It is sometimes about the right timing. The chances that you are around when there is an absolute solid subject to click, with the right background. A second is so much more than just a second for a photographer. It is a chance that you don't lose your subject till you release your shutter. Its a division of second.
A short series of pictures to show you what I meant.
